Yiiiiiipppppeeeee! As some of you may know, my friend Jill Miller and I wrote a 12-step album several months ago. We have not been able to secure enough funding to get it off the ground. Jill and I both agreed we didn't want to do this project in debt. But instead, wanted to have the money raised so we could get into the studio without finances hanging over our heads.

Well…I'm ecstatic to say, God did something in a 15-minute conversation I never could have imagined. Jill told me about a meeting with a potential donor. We prayed the week leading up to it. And within the first few minutes of the meeting, the divine appointment turned into a fully-funded money miracle. Our recovery project is being generously sponsored by Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City. How cool is that? For those of you who already gave generously and compassionately to this project months ago - thank you! Every donation matters. It counts. And you are a critical part of bringing it to life! I know this isn't really a #spiritualnugget. But I just thought you should know…sometimes God wants to surprise us. Sometimes He has plans, ways, and strategies we can't come up with on our own. It takes us doing our part. It takes prayer. Making the calls or appointments. Showing up. Being diligent. Then BOOM.

So my friends, we are hitting the studio here in Nashville early February. We are delighted to have a great producer and amazing live players (as opposed to the dead ones) lined up. I can't wait to get this music out and see what happens. I pray it brings healing, encouragement, and recovery to every soul who encounters it.
